Ageing Well in Wales: Celebrating Communities

15th December 2016 @ 10:30 am - 3:15 pm

To celebrate the second anniversary of the launch of Ageing Well in Wales, I am hosting two events celebrating some of the fantastic work taking place in Welsh towns, villages and cities to make them good places to grow older. The events will be an opportunity to share knowledge and develop new ideas on how together we can make Wales a nation of age friendly and dementia supportive communities prevent falls, tackle loneliness and isolation, and improve learning and employment opportunities for older people.

As the Older People’s Commissioner for Wales and Chair of Ageing Well in Wales I will talk about the achievements of the Programme to date, and our plans for the future. Meet and hear from some of the stars of Ageing Well in Wales, people and organisations making a real difference to the lives and wellbeing of older people in their communities.

I would like to invite you to join me in Bangor (3rd November) or Cardiff (15th December). The events run from 10-30am to 3-15pm. Lunch will be provided.

Places at the events are limited. To reserve your place, please RSVP using the booking forms here:
