Scheme Manager The Mercers Company

The Mercers Company is looking to recruit an experienced Scheme Manager for one of its Residential Housing Schemes on a part time role spread over 5 days.

As the Scheme Manager you will be working in one of our residential housing schemes based in East London, managing repairs, designing social activities and engaging with our residents. You will be assisting in our regulatory and compliance work, reviewing processes and suggesting improvements. The successful candidate will have excellent listening and communication skills, be a strong team player who enjoys a varied role and possess the ability to use their initiative. You will have a high standard of professionalism and a ‘can do’ approach. You will have an awareness of health and safety legislation and risk management, and strong IT and database skills. You will also be a completer finisher who can support process improvement and deliver high quality work. An enhanced DBS check is required for this role.

Maintenance Planner Newydd

Job Status: Permanent, 40 hours (8am-430pm, Mon-Fri) Tongwynlais, Cardiff with fully flexible agile working options £24,336 to £25,616

Closing Date: 1st April 2024

As Maintenance Planner you will be responsible for organising and coordinating the day to day delivery of the teams’ repairs and maintenance services. You will schedule appointments for repairs to our tenants’ homes using our dynamic repairs scheduling system whilst ensuring that work is completed efficiently and with a high level of customer satisfaction by closely liaising with our Trade Operatives, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Trustees erosh

Job Status: Part-time

Do you feel passionately about good quality housing and services for older people? Can you contribute to our organisation and make a real difference? We are always looking for new trustees to join our active, friendly and committed board of trustees and help us achieve our goals. Read about the role here.

We are also looking for a trustee to fulfil the role of Vice Treasurer with finance or accountancy experience. Knowledge of or interest in the social housing sector and/or older people’s housing and support would be a bonus. All roles are voluntary with a commitment of about 1 day a month including quarterly board meetings.  Erosh is a small charity with part-time staff so you will have opportunities to get involved in all aspects of our work.
