Training Event – Professional Boundaries for Independent Living Services
13th May
The roles of staff working within older persons services have changed in recent years as service models change and the demographics of customers are also changing. Maintaining clear boundaries remains an important aspect of a professional service for older people.
This course focusses on developing staff awareness of what clear professional boundaries are, as well as the consequences of ‘crossing boundaries’.
There will always be a need for some flexibility within the role and understanding the limits and recognising ‘grey areas’ will help staff to protect customers and themselves.
