The roles of staff working within older persons services have changed in recent years as services have moved from a support planning service to promoting independence through monitoring well-being and facilitating support through other services.

A half-day, online training course to enable staff in Sheltered Housing to deal effectively and safely with confrontation.
We are delighted to welcome Duncan and Louise to the erosh Board of Trustees, bringing with them a wealth of experience across social housing, supported and sheltered housing, governance and community engagement.
Louise who is the current Head of Housing & Support at Transform Housing & Support has spent more than 35 years working in supported and sheltered housing, with a career grounded in ensuring people feel safe, listened to and well supported in their homes. She is passionate about reliable, high-quality services and about working alongside residents, colleagues and partners to understand what people need from the services they rely on.
That is the message we are taking from Never Give Up Day this year, and it reflects a commitment that has been at the heart of erosh for more than 30 years.
We believe older people deserve housing and support that enables them to live well, maintain their independence, stay connected to their communities and make their own choices about the way they live.
We have regional networks across the UK and provides an opportunity to meet colleagues and share good practice.
