Training Event – Assessing Needs & Risks for Independent Living Services

The roles of staff working within older persons services have changed in recent years as services have moved from a support planning service to promoting independence through monitoring well-being and facilitating support through other services.
The aim remains to help residents live independently and stay in their home for as long as possible.
This course focusses on the changing of role of front-line staff and with the aim of identifying and assessing needs and risks to be able to effectively support new residents and where circumstances change for existing residents.
The course will also incorporate best practice and touch on how to support residents. Delegates will receive copies of these good practice guides.
