Feedback from erosh members has suggested that instances of domestic abuse in a sheltered and retirement housing setting (from partners, family members and befrienders and in relation to different types of abuse) have been increasing or at least more are now coming to the attention of scheme staff resulting in a need for more guidance and good practice.

On this virtual Zoom call Erosh members will hear from the very well respected Older People’s Commissioner for Wales, Helena Herklots, who will talk about the work she is leading on to raise awareness of the issues and to influence governments and policy makers. There will also be an opportunity to put your questions to Helena, and share issues and good practice with fellow erosh members.
