Query regarding charges for the use of guest bedrooms in schemes. Is the charges per person, per night or a flat rate for use of the guest bedroom? How much are the charges??

Hello,
At our HA we charge £25 per night, this is a flat rate across our schemes as due to our location – we don’t have many hotels or B&Bs nearby. All our flats are one beds, so over night visitors tend to book the guest room out. We provide a kettle, two coffee cups – but request tenants to provide the milk, teas bags and coffee.
Hope this helps

Hi,

We charge a flat rate, £14 a night for most schemes apart from one, a newish scheme, which is £20. We’ve just refurbished and dressed up a lot of our GRs so we will be reviewing the cost.

Hi Sarah. In my experience there is usually a flat rate per night for the guest room rather than a charge per person but, as my colleague above says, it does vary quite a bit across the UK and across different schemes so it will be very interesting to see what the findings from our benchmarking project say.

Hi Sarah
I am compiling the benchmarking project results and typically the costs are in the £10-15 per night for the room, but they do vary across the UK
