Next Wednesday, we'll be bringing together members, colleagues, partners and friends at the historic Trinity Hospital in Greenwich to celebrate three decades of connection, learning and progress.
And while we'll certainly be taking time to reflect on erosh's history, we're equally excited about the conversations we'll be having about the future of older people's housing and independent living.
World Housing Awards 2026

We’re absolutely delighted to share that erosh has been shortlisted for the Welsh Housing Awards 2026!
We’re finalists in the Working in Partnership category, recognising our work with Kingdom Academy and our wider network of specialist training partners to strengthen professional development across the older people’s housing sector.
World Mental Health Day

Every person has a story. And sometimes, the parts of that story we don’t see are the ones that affect their mental health the most.
The loss of someone they love. The loneliness that can come with getting older. The frustration of finding everyday things more difficult than they once were. The uncertainty of changes to their health, home or independence.
November and December are looking busy at erosh!

We’ve got six training and learning sessions coming up before the end of 2026, all focused on the kinds of situations independent living and sheltered housing teams are navigating every day.
Digital Switchover Good Practice Workshop

The end of January digital switchover deadline is getting very close, and for many organisations there are still some big practical questions to work through.
That was clear from the discussion at our recent Good Practice Workshop, where delegates joined us from England, Wales and Northern Ireland to explore the technical requirements, operational challenges and decisions organisations are facing as they prepare.
Trustees' away day

A really positive away day for the erosh Trustees this week, with plenty of ideas, challenge and conversation about what comes next as we look beyond our 30th year as a charity...
The away day was a chance to look back at the progress made against current objectives, but the real focus was on the future and beginning to shape the erosh Business Plan for 2027-29.
