We are delighted to announce that Steve Rafferty is stepping up as erosh’s new Chief Executive. Steve is currently our Director of Independent Living Services and will take over as Chief Executive on 1st June 2025.
Steve has worked in the housing sector since the 1980’s and has been involved with accreditations for housing and support services in the UK for over 20 years. He is also experienced in a wide range of consultancy areas, including resident involvement, older persons services, measuring customer satisfaction and benchmarking.
Having spent many years working for Local Authorities and Housing Associations, Steve moved into training/education within housing, including apprenticeships, as well as consultancy. More recently, Steve managed a small Housing Association in the Bristol area, with the association providing accommodation for residents over 55 years of age.
Steve says, “I am looking forward to taking over the role, after 5 years with erosh managing the ILS accreditation and other projects. Erosh is in a great position, with many exciting new projects this year and looking to build on the brilliant work of Rebecca in leading erosh to its current position. I have met many members through Independent Living Standards work and regional networks. Steve will continue to manage the Independent Living Standards and assessing until a new Director of Independent Living Services is appointed.
