Erosh is a national consortium for older people’s housing and support with its own quality standards framework

Latest news

Ensuring the quality of your older people’s accommodation and services meets national standards.

Next Wednesday, we'll be bringing together members, colleagues, partners and friends at the historic Trinity Hospital in Greenwich to celebrate three decades of connection, learning and progress.

And while we'll certainly be taking time to reflect on erosh's history, we're equally excited about the conversations we'll be having about the future of older people's housing and independent living.

We're delighted to have a fantastic line-up of speakers joining us.

alistair mcintosh, Chief Executive of HQN, will share his perspectives on the lessons learnt from housing regulation, drawing on decades of experience advising and challenging the sector.

Asmut Price from Cardiff Council will explore Cardiff's vision for older people's housing, including how thoughtful design and development can help people remain independent for longer.

From Nottingham City Council, Sam Williams and Antony Dixon will discuss future-proofing older people's housing, bringing their experience of retirement living, supported housing, assistive technology and partnership working.

And James Batchelor MBE, Founder and CEO of Alertacall Ltd, will explore the role technology can play in keeping older people safe, connected and independent.

We'll also have the pleasure of hearing from Imogen Parry, one of erosh's original founders, who will take us back to where it all began, sharing some of the stories and experiences that shaped the organisation we know today.

Alongside these discussions, we'll be reflecting on erosh's achievements and sharing our ambitions for 2027 and beyond.

It's shaping up to be a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the people, partnerships and shared commitment that have sustained erosh over the last 30 years, while looking ahead to what comes next.

We're really looking forward to welcoming everyone who's joining us on Wednesday, 21st October.

A special thank you to The Mercers' Company for their generous support of our anniversary celebration.
