An opportunity has arisen for a Hostel Assistant to join Cadwyn’s supported housing team on a permanent basis. Our hostel for families provides support and accommodation to prepare families in securing and maintaining a tenancy. The hostel can be a fast paced environment, where residents are supported with a wide range of needs including domestic abuse, substance mis-use, mental ill health and child protection issues.
As a Hostel Assistant, you will ensure Supported Housing residents and stakeholders are provided with a high-quality service as the first point of contact. The role involves working with tenants who may be difficult to engage with and as such you should have the skills to build trusting and respectful relationships. The role is also key to maintaining safe and secure accommodation for tenants.

Independent Living Team Leader Central Bedfordshire
Job Status: £46,142 – £51,356 per annum pro rata 37 hours per week Contract Hybrid – Permanent (x2 positions available)

An opportunity has arisen at Central Bedfordshire to join the Independent Living Team as Team Leader. The Team provides both housing related support and a housing management function to the CBC Independent Living Schemes, as well as providing a tenure neutral community alarm service. The role plays a vital part in delivering safe, well-managed buildings and ensuring residents feel heard, supported and respected, tailoring our service delivery to the needs and aspirations of customers.

We are also looking for a trustee to fulfil the role of Treasurer with finance or accountancy experience.
Knowledge of or interest in the social housing sector and/or older people’s housing and support would be a bonus. All roles are voluntary with a commitment of about 1 day a month including quarterly board meetings. Erosh is a small charity with part-time staff so you will have opportunities to get involved in all aspects of our work.
