Independent Living Officer (3 x roles) Community Gateway

Job Status: £26,098.86 p.a. (Pay award due April 2024) 37 hours per week / Permanent. As Independent Living Officer (ILO) you will be based at one of our modern, purpose-built extra care sites in Preston but will also be required to work in the community and customers’ homes.

Closing Date: 10th March 2024

You will be responsible for delivering housing management support functions to older people living in our extra care settings and dependent upon your skills and abilities, you will have a focus on delivering activities or managing compliance too.

The role supports a holistic approach to independent living and the ILO will work closely with customers to ensure they have the best quality of life and are able to stay in their homes for as long as they can through the provision of a service which is centred around the person and their wellbeing.

Digital Marketing Officer Newydd

Job Status: 35 Hours / Permanent Tongwynlais, Cardiff with fully flexible agile working options £24,000 to £29,616

As Digital Marketing Officer you will manage our social media channels, including Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn, through the medium of Welsh and English. You will create, edit, schedule and publish multimedia content for our website and intranet as well as our social media platforms. You will deliver new and innovative ways of increasing our customer engagement and coordinate our digital presence at events and community activities in a creative manner

Trustees erosh

Job Status: Part-time

Do you feel passionately about good quality housing and services for older people? Can you contribute to our organisation and make a real difference? We are always looking for new trustees to join our active, friendly and committed board of trustees and help us achieve our goals. Read about the role here.

We are also looking for a trustee to fulfil the role of Vice Treasurer with finance or accountancy experience. Knowledge of or interest in the social housing sector and/or older people’s housing and support would be a bonus. All roles are voluntary with a commitment of about 1 day a month including quarterly board meetings.  Erosh is a small charity with part-time staff so you will have opportunities to get involved in all aspects of our work.
