HR Assistant Newydd

We are looking for an experienced HR Assistant to join our team, with a proven track record of providing support on a range of HR activities. As HR Assistant you will co-ordinate and administer key HR processes. You will be dealing with day-to-day staff and manager queries, advising on general HR and Health & Safety matters, supporting recruitment drives and the new starter onboarding process, coordinating the cyclical core training, health surveillance and DBS programmes.

Gas Engineer Newydd

Job Status: 40 hours Vale & Valleys Area £35,228 to £37,082

Newydd are looking for a Gas Engineer to carry out gas servicing, post inspections and maintenance and installation of plumbing and gas heating services within our properties whilst delivering a high-quality service to our tenants. Previous experience in plumbing and domestic gas engineer’s works is essential and you will also need a broad knowledge of Gas Safety and other industry legislation and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Job Status: 40 hours, Permanent Vale & Valleys Area with occasional travel to Newtown, Powys £29,228 to £30,766

Newydd Housing Association is a charitable housing association, that offers nearly 3,000 affordable homes for rent and sale to people where need is at its greatest in Mid and South Wales, working in several local authority areas. We are looking for a Multi Skilled Operative to carry out maintenance and improvements to our properties and to deliver a high-quality repairs service whilst maintaining our homes to the highest standard. Previous experience in a repairs or maintenance role is essential and you will also need a broad knowledge and practical experience of all aspects of building maintenance and repairs including general plumbing, carpentry, tiling and patch plastering.

Trustees erosh

Do you feel passionately about good quality housing and services for older people? Can you contribute to our organisation and make a real difference? We are always looking for new trustees to join our active, friendly and committed board of trustees and help us achieve our goals. Read about the role here.

We are also looking for a trustee to fulfil the role of Vice Treasurer with finance or accountancy experience. Knowledge of or interest in the social housing sector and/or older people’s housing and support would be a bonus. All roles are voluntary with a commitment of about 1 day a month including quarterly board meetings.  Erosh is a small charity with part-time staff so you will have opportunities to get involved in all aspects of our work.
