Ageing-in-place conference 2013

The ExtraCare Charitable Trust is jointly hosting a major international conference in September.

This annual event looks to bring 120 senior level decision makers from international and local private, public and not-for-profit sectors together to identify collaboration and investment opportunities that aim to change the future of ageing in the UK through affordable housing and in-home care models. The event aims to increase opportunities for cross industry and international collaborations in the UK, bring Government, Business and Charities together to create affordable ageing solutions for the UK as well as showcase international innovative ageing-in-place models and services for older people.

Held in conjunction with the launch of the Trust’s new Hagley Road Village, Birmingham, delegates will have the unique opportunity of touring the new Village pre-opening, and to participate in a conference held in a retirement village. The inaugural launch of AGEING-IN-PLACE UK 2013 focuses on enabling older adults to live affordably in their own homes, with support services that allow them to live independently.
