Brand new partnership with Kier Services

We are delighted to announce our new partnership with Kier Services. Kier are supporting us in 2018 to produce a new Good Practice Guide on Loneliness and Social Isolation.

Kier Group plc is a leading property, residential, construction and services group which invests in, builds, maintains and renews the places where we work, live and play. Kier delivers its services to many sheltered housing schemes across the UK, working closely with older people and their wider support network.

There is a growing body of evidence about the role older people’s housing plays in tacking loneliness and social isolation but a lack of practical guidance for providers and those who work with older people. Our guide will consolidate some of this evidence, highlight the positive role sheltered and retirement housing play in reducing loneliness and social isolation, and include good practice for those who support older people or are or at risk of loneliness and social isolation.

Rebecca Mollart, erosh CEO, said:

“We are delighted that Kier has decided to support us to provide this essential good practice guide. Loneliness and social isolation are very important and increasing issues and Kier has enabled us to prioritise this activity in the new year”.

Emma Quanash, Customer Experience Business Partner for Housing Maintenance, said:

“We are really excited to be working with erosh, and in a way that increases awareness about the issues older people are facing.  Our customers will reap the benefits from service providers that better understand the impact of loneliness and isolation, and empower our sector to help reduce this”.
