Sheltered and retirement housing staff are now starting to return to schemes as the pandemic eases, often on a phased or part-time basis, and communal lounges are starting to re-open. This presents new challenges around ensuring fair and consistent treatment of all staff; the balance between home and scheme based working as well as between virtual and physical working; and managing the re-opening of lounges and the inter-face with residents.
