New erosh Good Practice Guidance on Mobility Vehicles

Mobility Vehicles (MVs) are still amongst the top challenges for our members. Although they are of course fantastic for older people with limited mobility, the dramatic increase in the use of MVs (which is set to continue) has provided several challenges for social housing landlords; particularly in relation to fire safety, storage and charging facilities and associated costs, and policies for allowing MV use. Landlords have to balance the need of the MV user for independence and access with the need to comply with appropriate health, safety and fire regulations as well as adhering to good practice and being fair and equitable to all residents.

Our new good practice guide is a handy source of practical information which highlights key considerations, signposts you to other sources of information, and includes good practice examples. Find out more..
