Erosh launches new Policy Briefing exploring Changes to TV Licences

Everybody, regardless of age, needs to be covered by a TV licence to (on any device and through any provider):

➢ Watch or record live TV programmes on any channel

➢ Download or watch any BBC programmes on iPlayer – live, catch up or on demand

Later this year there are changes to concessionary TV licences for people over 75.

In this briefing we clarify these changes and cover some practical issues for sheltered & retirement housing providers.

We are currently communicating with TV Licensing to find out more, and to lobby for:

➢ Continuation of free TV licenses for all people over 75.
➢ An on-line facility with the ability to make card payments, and to report changes to residents and/or staff.
