Our new Heat Network Regulations Briefing is now available for members to access in the Member Hub on the erosh website.
66% of heat networks are owned/managed by social housing providers and typically found in supported and older people’s schemes. They are an efficient, low cost, low carbon option and play a key role in securing the UK’s energy independence. From 27th Jan 2026, a new regulatory regime (under the Energy Act 2023) for came into force to better protect consumers and to ensure they benefit from a more reliable system as well as good customer service, fair pricing, and easy to understand energy bills.
