Supporting Older LGBT+ People in Housing

Tai Pawb has teamed up with Erosh to host a session on how we can better support older LGBT+ people in housing. Evidence suggests that older LGBT+ people living in sheltered accommodation or shared settings face difficulties in being open about their sexual orientation can be subject to discrimination.

We’ll discuss the wider picture – including the recently released Census 2021 statistics – and will share with attendees the results of a recent survey we jointly conducted on housing issues for older LGBT+ people. We’ll also hear from two member organisations sharing their own practice.

Hosted by Tai Pawb chairperson, Craig Stephenson OBE, we’ll be joined by: Rebecca Mollart of Erosh; Ceri Meloy of Tai Pawb; Chris Thomas of Trivallis; Sian Evans and Shane Lloyd of United Welsh.
