Alcohol Awareness Week 2026
- Details

Adult Social Care Review

The first report of Baroness Casey’s review will be published later this year, the second in 2028. Baroness Casey has referred to underfunded services relying on low-paid care workers, lack of ownership and accountability, and a deep divide between health and social care. She has called for six immediate actions on dementia, motor neurone disease and adult safeguarding including dementia trials, a Dementia Tsar, and a new National Safeguarding Board.
The ‘national conversation’ with people with lived experience of receiving or delivering care continues and there is an online evidence portal to which any one can contribute. Follow progress here.
